    Oban蒸留所の高い煙突は船の上からでもはっきりとわかる町のランドマーク。Isle of Mullへ向かうフェリーからもよく見える。
    Obanに立ち寄った多くの旅人がこの姿を見ただろう。そしてObanを去る時、小さくなる煙突に旅愁を感じたことだろう。

    The tall chimney of Oban Distillery is one of the landmark of Oban. You can see from the ferry to Isle of Mull.
    Most traveleres who stopped at Oban would see the landmark, and when they saw the chimney which they saw to be small gradually at the departure from Oban, they would feel loneliness on a journey.

    Obanの町中にある、Oban蒸留所は1794年創業の伝統的な小さな蒸留所。少ない平地を効率よく利用しているのは同じアーガイル地方のCampbeltownの蒸留所とよく似ている。また、今時珍しいコンピューターシステムで制御していない蒸留所でもある。もっとも現在導入を検討中とのことだったけど。
    Oban was established in 1794 in the central area of Oban. It is a small, traditional distillery, which was made the best use of the small site.
    I think Oban Distillery is similar to distilleries of Campbeltown in Argyle area. And it is the rare distillery which don’t have a computer system, although they are considering to introduce it.
